I had a good time answering a few questions from Allison Loring at Film School Rejects — check it out here!
The German music and film blog “Zolin Sagt” asked me for my top 10 “desert island discs…”
Thankfully they included the album covers so you can sort it out even if your German isn’t up to snuff!
What do you think of my crazy mix? I’ve never thought about this idea before… and it’s tough to choose just ten! I tried to make sure I had a wide variety to cover all of the bases…

It’s official… the first half of the final season of Breaking Bad will start airing on July 15th in the United States on AMC:
What was I up to while I was waiting for Breaking Bad to return? I had the opportunity to score a great feature-length horror film called “Smiley” which was directed by Michael Gallagher of YouTube’s “Totally Sketch” and features some terrific young talent along with Keith David and Roger Bart. It is currently being shopped to the studios… look for it soon!

Work on the score for season 5 of Breaking Bad is now underway!
I had a chance to chat with the folks at the Albuquerque Journal recently… Although all of my music gets done in Los Angeles, “Breaking Bad” is entirely shot in and around ABQ and the city is an integral part of the story. Our cast and production crew are working there now… can’t wait to get back to New Mexico for another visit! Here’s to the “Land of Enchantment!” Thanks ABQ!

Big thanks to the website “The Rising Hollywood” which has picked up my interview from Film Music Media and labeled me an Emmy front-runner for Breaking Bad! A very kind sentiment… if only they had a vote! 😉
The next time you are sitting on a couch at your favorite Post-Production facility, waiting on some lazy mixer or picture editor, I hope you’ll crack open the latest edition of POST magazine. It will be on the side table next to you… you may have just put your coffee on it. They were kind enough to interview me as part of their “Audio for TV” special.
I’ll be speaking on a panel at the upcoming ASCAP EXPO entitled “Behind the Scenes: The Musical Anatomy of a Hit TV Show” on Thursday April 19th in Hollywood. If you’ll be attending the EXPO please stop by and say hello! I’ll be joined by Breaking Bad’s music supervisor Thomas Golubic as well as the composers and music supervisors from the shows “Justified” and “Burn Notice.”
